The last few weeks have been a storm of building and kitbashing for other wargames and just one off minis and not much painting due a lack of energy from just life (it be like that sometimes ah well). However! From a few hobby hangouts on discord with some hobby mates I have been reminded of Trench Crusade exists and that I had bought some STL's and gotten the printing king @Banway to print off some Heretic Legion Minis and that this post is the short recounting of my process and project so far.
The minis in question are from Matty Knucklebones and their Mu Troopers (as seen below)

They just spoke to me aesthetically of, yeah these guys are troopers from hell absolutely. As a wise sculptor once said "These Rip". So snagged the bundle and with some time they were in my hands alongside a sorcerer of Knucklebones and a dude with a gasmask and crab claw which will appear in another photo just below.
The humble beginnings of a warband to eventually get some games under my belt in the distant and grim and dark future (well past in this sense for TC sake). With my eyes on some other minis to expand on the warband I'm setting the goal to get this lot all painted before even considering the purchase. I am yet to settle on a name for this lot but I know within the lore of TC that most troopers of the legion are under the martial directive of an archdemon and having a copy of "The Lesser Key Of Solomon" I was able to pick a patron hell suitable to what I wished this grow to do in universe. Settling on the 31st in the text who was a President of Hell named Foras.
"He teaches logic and ethics in all their branches, the virtues of all herbs and precious stones, can make a man witty, eloquent, invisible and live long, and can discover treasures and recover lost things."

And as a final shot for the post are my two completed troopers achieving one an evening so far having the scheme down after these two. I'm now a convert for Ratling Grime Contrast and enjoying the various varnishes for finishes on this project. There will be updates for sure on this as I'm on a roll and enjoying painting again which is nice. Cheers!
